LEARNING

We know how hard it can be to learn new things and with support from your allied team, we can support you to implement or learn any new recommended skills.
By working through allied health plans, we can build your capacity to learn and/or understand new skills. This helps build confidence and creates independence. Our STA homes, and SIL houses have access to allied health set up programs that support structured learning and capacity building skills that are necessary in reaching any of your set goals. All our programs are run by qualified allied health staff.
  • Learning about yourself, your support networks and developing your confidence.
  • Understanding and building relationships through social skills, communication and understanding the way different relationships can work.
  • Getting ready for the workforce, on-the-job support and finding and keeping a job.
  • Learning different ways to face new challenges, responsibilities and experiences.
  • Daily living tasks like cooking, cleaning and maintaining appointments.
