NSW Council for Intellectual Disability (NSWCID)
Sydney, Australia is a peak body representing the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability in NSW.

NSW Ombudsman
an independent and impartial watchdog whose role is to make sure that agencies they watch over fulfil their functions properly and improve their delivery of services to the public.

NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)
a legal tribunal that appoints guardians for people with disabilities aged 16 and over who are incapable of making their own decisions.

Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association (MDAA)
advocates for the rights and interests of people with disability and is considered the peak organisation in NSW for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) / non – English speaking backgrounds (NESB) with disability, their families and carers.

Indigenous Disability Advocacy Service (IDAS)
assists indigenous people with most types of disabilities, their families and carers when the person they are looking after needs help, especially if they have been unfairly treated or are confused about a big decision.
